Maybe you would want to consider using a micro-blogging site to blog? Twitter? Plurk? Tumblr?
I don't know if you remember me but I've been a 'silent' reader of your blog since last year. I like reading what my ex-schoolmates/classmates are up to recently at their blogs (Don't mention about facebook because I don't have and don't plan to have an account there...).
