It is emotionally devastating to see old people dying. That is when all the system has finally reach its failure and it is more heartbreaking to know that you cannot do anything than just watching them counting their breath before their get to inhale their last one. Nothing you can do to make them well again. The best you can do is to be there and at least your presence can give them some peace and a smile on their face before they depart to eternity.
I am sorry grandma. You will be in a better place soon.
